Traded in my Mustang and bought Michelle a Prius. That means I get the hand-me-down family van which will now become my Sportsmobile! The transformation started today by stickering it up. Looking forward to adding an Ironman sticker later this year! Gotta earn it first though.
Becoming An IRONMAN For CAF $10,000 Fundraising Goal
I am lucky. All my limbs are intact and my health is excellent. Others want to be able to do the things I do, but are challenged by access to funding and aids that will allow their bodies to do and go where their will and minds want to take them.
At my own cost I will attempt to swim 1.2 miles, cycle 56 miles, and run 13.1 miles on July 30th, 2017 in Whistler, BC Canada at the 70.3 Ironman Canada to bring awareness and funding support to the Challenged Athletes Foundation and the needs of their clients. This challenge race is intended to raise at least $10,000 in funds for Challenged Athletes Foundation to make those dreams come true for challenged athletes everywhere.
